About this grant

NIDHI-PRAYAS (PRomoting and Accelerating Young and ASpiring innovators & startups) bridges the gap between an idea and a prototype. Selected innovators receive grant support, mentoring and access to a Prototyping Lab / Fabrication Lab at a host PRAYAS centre.

Founders: Indian innovators, students and early-stage entrepreneurs.
Company: Idea-stage; company registration not mandatory at application.
Location: India.

Indian citizen aged 18 or above.

Stage

Idea stage with a clear plan to build a hardware or hardware+software prototype.

Benefits

Grant of up to ₹10 Lakh for prototype development
Access to prototyping / fabrication lab facilities
Mentoring and cohort support

How to apply

Apply to a nearby PRAYAS centre; selection is by the centre's committee.

Identify a host PRAYAS centre
Submit the application with the prototype plan
Pitch to the selection committee
On approval, receive tranche-wise grant and lab access
